How to Make My Computer Faster
Many people often think that by increasing the size of their RAM in the computer is the only thing one can do in order to increase the speed of the computer. This is true for those who have an older system that needs to be updated in order to get the best performance allowable. Modifying your CPU or increasing the RAM can give you faster computer performance, but there are also alternatives that can be used so that the existing computer configuration can be optimized for speeding up the computer.
Here are some tips to make your computer faster and working with a faster performance:
- First thing which is very easy to accomplish is to clear the browser cache. Browser cached and temp folder contains cookies and other junk which is of no use and phenomenally decreases the computer performance.
- People generally tend to automatically restart all the processes during start up. This is not a proper thing to do as it causes a severe load on your computer. When we boot the computer certain processes run automatically, even if we are not using them (they continue to run in the background) can slow down a computers performance. One thing that you can do is to go into the service area of the computer and manually disable some of the programs and utilities that you don’t use on a daily basis and by doing so, you will be amazed to find that the performance of the computer has increased considerably.
- Downloads are the other important thing that one should keep in mind. People make it a habit of choosing “C” drive on a computer to download or store files and folders in. These is the main operating system of a computer or technically speaking the computers brain, so try to keep it as clear as possible by choosing another drive to save or download items to. Or one may choose to download into C drive and move them to another drive once they have been downloaded.
By following these above mentioned steps, there will be a considerable improvement in your systems performance and you will see that it makes your computer faster.
